Marine Cargo Insurance
We arrange tailored cargo cover through our insurance partner network, so every shipment you send is protected against loss or damage in transit — by sea, air, or road.
Why Marine Cargo Insurance Matters
Freight in transit is exposed to risks no carrier liability limit fully covers — from rough handling and container damage to total loss at sea. For high-value or time-critical cargo, especially in sectors like Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare, Gems & Jewellery, and Electronics, a single uninsured incident can cost far more than the premium ever would. We help you arrange the right level of cover for every shipment, so your business is protected, not just your cargo.
Cover Options We Arrange
01
All-Risk Cover (ICC A)
The broadest level of protection — covers physical loss or damage from any external cause, except a short list of specific exclusions. The right choice for high-value, fragile, or sensitive cargo.
02
Named-Perils Cover (ICC B/C)
Covers a defined list of risks (fire, sinking, collision, and similar) rather than all risks. Lower premium, narrower protection — suited to lower-value or lower-risk shipments.
03
Per-Shipment or Open Policy
A one-off certificate for a single shipment, or an annual open policy for regular shippers so cover applies automatically without a fresh request every time.
How a Claim Works
01
Notify us immediately
Report any loss or damage as soon as it is discovered, before the shipment is moved further.
02
Submit documentation
Shipping documents, photos of the damage, and the original invoice are typically required.
03
Survey & assessment
A surveyor assesses the loss where needed, to confirm cause and extent of damage.
04
Settlement
Once assessed, the claim is settled according to the policy terms and the declared cargo value.
Protect Every Shipment You Send
Ask about cargo insurance when you request your next quote — it takes one extra field, and it means your shipment is covered from the moment it leaves your warehouse.
